A recent publication from LiST

The work “Unified Roadmap for ZIF-8 Nucleation and Growth: Machine Learning Analysis of Synthetic Variables and Their Impact on Particle Size and Morphology” by Dr. Juan Allegretto is now available Open Access in ACS Chemistry of Materials.

This manuscript focuses on ZIF-8 Metal Organic Framework and presents an unified view of the different nucleation and growth mechanisms that were proposed for this material. Also, by generating and curating a dedicated dataset encompassing the last 15 years of research and analyzing the data through Machine Learning, the impact of synthetic variables was elucidated.

This work was done in collaboration with Soft Matter Laboratory and INQUIMAE and funded by the Austrian Science Found – FWF through the project “Tailoring Plasmonics & MOFs: Synergy for Odorant sensing”.
