Prof. Dr. Mandana Amiri

RESEARCHER

Prof. Dr. Mandana Amiri, freshly recruited in June 2024 at DPU as head of sensor technology group. She got her PhD of Analytical Chemistry- Electrochemistry in 2007 from Sharif university of Technology, Tehran, Iran. During her PhD in 2006, she obtained British council scholarship for a research stay in University of Bath, England. She worked for 15 years as professor in University of Mohaghegh Ardabili, Iran. 

Prof. Amiri is equipped with extensive research experience in design and development of electrochemical sensors for biological and pharmaceutical compounds and electrochemical energy applications by using nano materials. After a research stay in 2016 as DAAD scholar in Germany, she also obtained an Alexander Humboldt fellowship for 2 years experience in electrochemistry lab in Oldenburg University, Germany (2021 to 2023). She is co-author of 90+ peer-reviewed scientific journal papers and +80 conference papers and supervisor of 35 MSc thesis and 5 PhD thesis.
