LiST at NANOMAT 2024
The development of smart sensor systems for personalized medicine and disease prevention. Performing endogenous biomarker detection...
...and exogenous biological species analysis will be complemented in LiST by innovative approaches to sampling as well as through dedicated materials for these applications.
We contribute to this societal demand through innovative and ground-breaking research at the interface between materials science, analytical science, physics and biotechnological approaches. Our fundamental and applied research have a strong clinical focus aiming at improved point-of-care diagnostics to save lives, improve the quality of life for patients and reduce hospitalization and health costs. Our projects aim to reach TRL 5 with applicable testing at DPU and partner hospitals.
Quantitative monitoring of small analytes in clinically relevant fluids or in air remains a challenge both from a
fundamental point of view as well as for practical applications.
